Maxwell’s only specializes in Bespoke tailoring. This means each one-of-a-kind garment is hand cut, hand sewn and hand finished using the original fabric selected by the customer and using the individual measurements taken. Our artisanal master tailors draw a unique paper pattern for each customer onto which the fabric is laid out and cut to the different parts of the garment. The pattern takes into account unique features of each customer, including the shoulder deviation and posture. Made to Measure garments are factory pre made in a limited range of fabrics and using a digital pattern in standardized body sizes. The garment is then adjusted thereafter using the customer’s measurements. This type of construction method may not be suitable to fit all body types and sizes.

Maxwell’s Shirts can be laundered at home or commercially. If laundering your shirts at home, we recommend hand washing or machine washing in luke warm water. We also recommend hang drying instead of tumble drying, as any exposure to high heat can damage the garment. Since the majority of our shirts are either 100% cotton or a cotton blend, they are susceptible to shrinkage. We allow for slight shrinkage when taking your measurements and recommend following our care instructions sewn in the garments to avoid further shrinkage. Suits and other garments should be professionally dry cleaned whenever required and depending on frequency of wear. When pressing suits prior to wear, it is advisable to use steam press and not apply any hot press/iron directly on the garments.

Yes, we primarily ship all our orders using an international courier.

Our goal is to provide you with the perfect fitting garment. The measurements and style of each item is verified and thoroughly inspected before being shipped. If the item you receive does not match either the measurements or style specification, please contact us within 10 days from receipt of the garments. Please provide a brief description of any discrepancy and we will provide you with instructions to alter your garment to your desired fit. Please note that we do not provide refunds on the garments.

Absolutely. Kindly bring along your best fitting garment and our tailors will copy the measurements and style.

All Maxwell’s shirts and garments are individual hand cut and sewn at our own atelier in Hong Kong by our team of Artisanal master tailors.

We have two collections of fabrics each year – Spring and Fall collection.

Yes, your measurements are kept on file for future orders. You may order shirts online or re order certain garments via email. You may inform us by email of any modifications are required to your me

The minimum order for shirts is 3 shirts. There is no minimum order for suits, jackets or trousers.

Standard delivery time is 8 weeks from the date order was placed. However, rush orders can be accommodated if garments are required for special events.
